This trick allows you to have an unlimited amount of points for a created player. It also works with the existing players and enables you to increase their stats to perfect. The process takes about an hour to make a perfect custom player. While in the creation process, go to 'Traits' and select all the negative ones (they give you 1,500 points). Exit the Traits screen. Select a category (such as attack, defense, etc.) and distribute the points as you wish. When finished, exit the screen. Go back to the Traits screen and de-select the negative traits, then exit the screen. Press Start and save your player. Re-open your created player in the edit player feature. Repeat the previous steps until the desired stats are achieved.

When one on one with the goalkeeper, perform a finesse shot. This will trick the keeper from going from one side to the other. For example, fake right and shoot left or vice versa. It will go in about 90% of the time.

If you have the ball and are outside the area but not on your half, you can check on the map how far the keeper is off his line. Normally he is about two meters. You can lob him easily if you get the power correct.

When you are losing a match, pause the game and go to 'Select Sides'. Switch to the other team, then shoot at your own net and score goals for your team original. Once your team is winning by a comfortable lead, switch back to your original team.

Select Tournament mode and choose any cup tournament, as they tend to be shorter. Select the highest rated team or replace a team in the tournament with a highly rated team from another league. While playing as any team in Manager mode, buy the best free agents in the transfer market. Sell them during the same transfer market window so you do not have to pay the high salary. Because they are free to you, once you sell them you can get the added millions to your bank account.

In Manager mode, save the game, quit, then load Manager mode again and all your players' stamina will be almost fully refilled. Repeat this process as much as desired.

This trick works in Manager mode when you are changing teams at the end of a season. At the end of the season when you are asked whether or not to renew certain players' contracts, choose not to renew the contracts of your favorite or best players (the ones you want on your new team). When you get to the new team and the transfer period starts, the players will be free agents, allowing you to transfer them without paying millions in fees and allowing you to re-negotiate the contract to fit your new team.

Purchase unlockable items without saving your profile. After testing items, simply reload your profile to re-acquire the unlockable points. By using this technique you can unlock and test all the unlockables in the game.

You can find Giovanni Dos Santos in Barcelona's reserve list. Even though he is only 69 overall you can edit his stats and make him as good as Ronaldinho. You will then have two of the best midfielder's in the game.

Create a team of eleven players rated 99 overall. Then, get five players rated 85 or higher overall. Use these players as substitutes. When you create the team, make sure you start out with $50 million. Start a season in Manager mode with this team. All of your staff or coaches will be rated 9 or 10. Before the first game, re-negotiate as many of the contracts as you can and bring down the salary per game at least $10,000. You will have a good team and be able to afford it. Three recommended players are: Wayne Rooney, Christiano Ronaldo, and Robinho.

If we want to buy or loan a particular player, we have to wait for the transfer period. When it comes, check the Transfers menu.

Buy/loan a player

In this Transfers menu, we've got Transfer Market option, where we can buy or loan a footballer.

As you can see in the picture above, there's a grey symbol with a coloured arrow next to player's surname. If the arrow is blue, that means the footballer can be bought. A yellow one means that the we can loan the player. If nobody from the list interests us, we can use Search and Search by Surname options to find a required player.

Let's say we found a interesting one. Now, it's time to make an offer.

Sometimes it is really difficult to negotiate good terms of contract. First of all, make sure you've got an experienced negotiator (check In the club chapter).

Let's start from the top:

Status - here, we state if we want to buy or loan a player;

Transfer Fee - once-paid fee for the transfer;

Player Salary Per Game - the most important thing. The money you pay to your footballers is the biggest liability for the club, so try to negotiate the lowest salary you can;

Contract Length - here, we determine, how long the contract will remain in force;

# of bids - now, we have to determine, how much offers we'll give in order to reach an agreement;

Per Clean Sheet - additional bonus paid for an outstanding performance in the match (clean sheet).

A good offer characterizes by low salary per game. This can be done by paying bigger transfer fee. And don't become discouraged if player (and the club in which he plays) rejects your offer.

Sell/loan a player

Sell or let other clubs use your men in order to minimise your club's salary cost. How?

Open Club Transfer List in the Transfers menu.

A list of our players will appear. If we want to sell or loan someone, we choose a particular footballer, press Change Status and simply set the status. After a match, someone will probably make an offer.

Financial prediction

Let's check the Financial Predictions section, in Office menu.

1. In the Budget section, we've got predictions that refers to balance of club's account after a certain period of time. Of course, it is always better when Predicted Income is higher than Predicted Expenses;

2. Player Wages are the biggest financial problem in Manager Mode. Always try to minimise it;

3. Here, we set the price of the tickets sold in our stadium. Remember, that if fan support is high, people will be willing to pay more in order to see your team in action live.

Summary

After each match, we can see a summary of our budget.

As we can see in the picture above, salary took more money than the sponsor gave to us. Note, that there's no ticket income. That's because this match wasn't played on our stadium.

Also, pay attention to stripes located in the bottom of the picture. After each match, team chemistry, job security and fan support change and these stripes indicate it.
